Launching of the Contruction Permit

Maseru City Council (MCC) has today launched a new system through which Architects will appy for the construction permit.  This move has been greatly welcomed by the residents of the city especially the professionals in the built environment, such as planners, environmentalists, architects and structural engineers,  In his welcome remarks, His 'worship the Mayor expressed his gratitude to the Private Sector Competitiveness Project and the World Bank,for having made it possible for the Maseru residents to be part of the global world. He highlighted on the fact that the world has now moved into the infomation era, hence Maseru City Council is no exception to this trend.  He pointed out that they are very confident as a city that through the implementation of this project, construction permits would undeniably be issued within fourteen working days - a move which would contribute to Lesotho as a country to be more competitive in terms to the investors,
